A weekend expedition hike for Guides aged 14+, and interested Leaders.

REGISTRATIONS HAVE BEEN EXTENDED! Register before 11.59 pm on Monday 14 May.

Hike into History is a weekend camp for Guides aged 14-17 and Leaders who would like to spend the weekend hiking with friends old and new.

The kid is aimed at the intermediate level, for Guides wanting to increase their hiking skills. Hikers will be carrying trangias, sleeping gear, and tents to the overnight camp site.

Cost:
Youth: $65
Adults: $20
Optional transport (see Information Booklet for details): $20 - must be selected below

Before registration, please download and read the Event Information Booklet from the event post on the website.

After clicking the orange 'Register Myself' button, you will need to select your registration option, answer a series of additional questions, and (for youth members) confirm your health details. You will also have the opportunity to select transport from Lilydale Station. Don't forget to save your responses before proceeding to the checkout.

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR EVENTS RUN BY GIRL GUIDES VICTORIA
(As at October 2011)
  • If the event is cancelled by Girl Guides Victoria, a full refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event at least one month prior to the closing date for applications, a 90% refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event less than one month before the closing date for applications, a 50% refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event after the closing date for applications, no refund will be given.
You may apply for special consideration in exceptional circumstances. Such requests should be addressed to the Database Manager at Girl Guides Victoria.
