River Region Earthling Camp
This is an Indoor Camp for Guides in River Region aged 6-10 years. The theme is nature. It’s an “Earthling Camp”! We are all children from Earth discovering and learning about nature.

Guides will be participating in a range of activities on site. Most activities are based on our Earth/Nature theme. They include:

- Camp fire
- Guides Own
- Cooking
- Games
- Craft
- Exploring nature
- Making new Guiding friends

Guides need to arrive between 5.30 and 6.00 pm on Friday 5 April, and either bring their own dinner for Friday night or eat before arriving. Please arrange your own transport to and from camp, and report to Dining room to check in on arrival to campsite.

Cost of $70 for youth members includes all accommodation, meals on Saturday and Sunday, and resources for activities. Adult registration costs $40 which covers all accommodation, and meals on Saturday and Sunday.

Guides should bring their Guide uniform t-shirt. Refer to the Kit List for a full list of what to bring, and the Information Booklet for more details about camp.

All medication should be marked with Guide’s name and details, and placed in zip locked bag and handed to First Aid officer on check in. Health forms and map will be forwarded after registrations have closed.

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR EVENTS RUN BY GIRL GUIDES VICTORIA
(As at October 2011)
  • If the event is cancelled by Girl Guides Victoria, a full refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event at least one month prior to the closing date for applications, a 90% refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event less than one month before the closing date for applications, a 50% refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event after the closing date for applications, no refund will be given.
You may apply for special consideration in exceptional circumstances. Such requests should be addressed to the Database Manager at Girl Guides Victoria.
