2023 ANZAC Day Parade in the City
Are you looking for a terrific service opportunity? Girl Guides Victoria has been invited to participate in the annual Anzac Day Parade. The parade goes from Federation Square to The Shrine in the Royal Botanical Gardens.


Who: Guides aged 10-17yrs and Adult members
When: Tuesday 25 April 2023 between 7:30 - 8am, until approximately 1pm
Where: Federation Square/St Kilda Road/The Shrine

Transport: We recommend travelling to Federation Square by public transport if possible, as parking will likely be difficult nearby. Please note that there will be changes to regular public transport timetables/routes. 

During the march Guides are asked to carry Unit Signs and/or Banners representing each of the Units. Please note that all participants must be able to travel the full distance from Federation Square to The Shrine.

Please read the event flyer for full details and to refer to our Uniform Guidelines. All participants must be in full uniform, including black/dark brown shoes.

How to register:
- Log into your/your Guides profile, then click the orange 'Register Myself' button below, and select your registration type (if applicable). 
- You may be presented with a series additional questions which need to be answered. Please save after answering.
- Youth members will need to review their health details. Save if you make any changes.
- For payment/complete checkout, click the orange 'Proceed to checkout' button at the bottom of this page to pay. 
- Payment is required to secure your registration. (For events that do not have a cost, you still must proceed to final checkout.)
- You will shortly receive an automated email confirmation. If you do not receive a confirmation, you likely have NOT successfully completed the registration process.

A CANCELLATION FEE WILL APPLY
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR EVENTS RUN BY GIRL GUIDES VICTORIA
(As at October 2011)
  • If the event is cancelled by Girl Guides Victoria, a full refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event at least one month prior to the closing date for applications, a 90% refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event less than one month before the closing date for applications, a 50% refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event after the closing date for applications, no refund will be given.
You may apply for special consideration in exceptional circumstances. Such requests should be addressed to the Database Manager at Girl Guides Victoria.
