ANZAC Day March in the City 2024
Are you looking for a terrific service opportunity? Girl Guides Victoria has been invited to participate in the annual Anzac Day March. The March travels from Federation Square to The Shrine in the Royal Botanical Gardens.

Who: Guides aged 10-17yrs and Adult members
When: Thursday 25 April 2024 between 7:30 - 8am, until approximately 1pm
Where: Federation Square/St Kilda Road/The Shrine

Transport: We recommend travelling to Federation Square by public transport if possible, as parking will likely be difficult nearby. Please note that there will be changes to regular public transport timetables/routes. 

During the march Guides are asked to carry Unit Signs and/or Banners representing each of the Units. Please note that all participants must be able to travel the full distance from Federation Square to The Shrine.

Please read the event information booklet for full details and to refer to our Uniform Guidelines. All participants must be in full uniform, including black/dark brown shoes.

- You will be presented with a series of additional questions. Please . Youth members will need to confirm their health details.
- Whilst payment is not required for this event, please click the orange  button at the bottom of this page to complete registration.

A CANCELLATION FEE WILL APPLY
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR EVENTS RUN BY GIRL GUIDES VICTORIA
(As at October 2011)
  • If the event is cancelled by Girl Guides Victoria, a full refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event at least one month prior to the closing date for applications, a 90% refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event less than one month before the closing date for applications, a 50% refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event after the closing date for applications, no refund will be given.
You may apply for special consideration in exceptional circumstances. Such requests should be addressed to the Database Manager at Girl Guides Victoria.
