Camp One, Camp All (Day 1) March 2023 - Britannia Park
Training for Leaders or Managers who wish to conduct Indoor or Outdoor (Established or Bush) Camps.

Day 1 - Camp One, Camp All - Theory
When | 
Saturday 25th March, 2023
Time | 
9.00 am - 5.30 pm. Please arrive no later that 8:30am, so training can commence on time.

Accommodation |
 There is the ability to utilise the available on-site accommodation. More information to come. 
What to bring |
- Guide shirt/hoodie/fleece jacket and navy pants/jeans
- Please wear/bring outdoor clothing & footwear suitable to the weather forecast
- A broad brimmed hat & raincoat
- Name badge if you have one
- Notebook & pen
- Laptop (optional)
- Your Conduct a Camp module
- USB stick (for handouts & resources to be copied to)
- Water bottle

This day is designed for Leaders who do not currently hold a Camping Qualification. It's required for both Indoor Camp Module and Outdoor Camp Module (Established and Bush). 

The Conduct a Camp Training is suitable for qualified Leaders or Managers and Olaves who wish to conduct Indoor Camps or Outdoor Camps at Established Campsites or Bush Campsites.
Leaders or Managers in Training, who have attended their LQ or MQ training, are welcome to attend Conduct a Camp training, but are unable to be assessed until they have completed their Leadership or Management qualification.
Leaders, Managers or Olaves wanting to be awesome camp staff and not wanting to be assessed are also welcome to attend.

- Preparing Guides for Camp

Those planning to complete the Outdoor module (Established or Bush) also need to attend Day 2 of camp training, Outdoor Camp Skills, in addition to this training.
There is a Day 2 training on Sunday 26th March (the day after this training) at the same location. If you wish to attend this Outdoor Skills Day, you will need to register for this training online here.

CANCELLATION POLICY FOR EVENTS RUN BY GIRL GUIDES VICTORIA
(As at October 2011)
  • If the event is cancelled by Girl Guides Victoria, a full refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event at least one month prior to the closing date for applications, a 90% refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event less than one month before the closing date for applications, a 50% refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event after the closing date for applications, no refund will be given.
You may apply for special consideration in exceptional circumstances. Such requests should be addressed to the Database Manager at Girl Guides Victoria.
