Welcome to Mentor Training 2024 - Monday May 13

This training is for Leaders and Managers who wish to become Mentors or wish to be re-appointed as Mentors. 
The Online Mentor Training is suitable for Leaders & Managers who have been qualified for 2+ years, wanting to support a new Leader or Manager in gaining their Leadership/Management Qualification.

Mentor Training provides skills in coaching, active listening and questioning, and how to support new Leaders or Managers in gaining their Qualification. Learn more about the role here

Please complete the eGuiding course Mentor Online Training prior to the online training session and be sure to have read the Mentor Information Kit. Reach out to Volunteer if you need assistance. 

WHEN: Monday May 13 - 7:30 - 9:30pm
WHERE: Online. Registrants will be sent the training link and other information in the week leading up to training. 

2024 Mentor Training Dates
Only one session required
- Tuesday March 19 - 7:30 - 9:30pm
- Monday May 13 - 7:30 - 9:30pm
- Saturday August 17 - 10am - 12:00pm
- Thursday October 17 - 7:30 - 9:30pm 

Attendance at this training and completion of the two eGuiding modules are a prerequisite for eligibility to be appointed as a Mentor.

A CANCELLATION FEE WILL APPLY
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR EVENTS RUN BY GIRL GUIDES VICTORIA
(As at October 2011)
  • If the event is cancelled by Girl Guides Victoria, a full refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event at least one month prior to the closing date for applications, a 90% refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event less than one month before the closing date for applications, a 50% refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event after the closing date for applications, no refund will be given.
You may apply for special consideration in exceptional circumstances. Such requests should be addressed to the Database Manager at Girl Guides Victoria.
