Join us for our first Kayak Training weekend for 2024! 

Trainees will complete and be assessed for the Conduct Canoe/Kayak Module. 
Trainees will be provided with training materials and a copy of the module prior to the training.

In the meantime, please consult the Conduct Canoe/Kayak Activities Module & the Instruct & Assess Canoe/Kayak Skills.

NOTE | If you currently hold external qualifications, or have experience with these activities please contact adventure@guidesvic.org.au to discuss possible RPL (Recognised Prior Learning) opportunities.  

WHEN | Saturday 6 & Sunday 7 April (8:45am – 4:00pm)
LOCATION | Guide & Scout Water Activities Centre, Sandringham
ACCOMMODATION | Accommodation is available on the Friday & Saturday nights. Please  to your registration below as required.  

Kit List
- Change of clothes
- Towel
- Lunch, snacks & water bottle
- Laptop or other device for theory work

A CANCELLATION FEE WILL APPLY
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR EVENTS RUN BY GIRL GUIDES VICTORIA
(As at October 2011)
  • If the event is cancelled by Girl Guides Victoria, a full refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event at least one month prior to the closing date for applications, a 90% refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event less than one month before the closing date for applications, a 50% refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event after the closing date for applications, no refund will be given.
You may apply for special consideration in exceptional circumstances. Such requests should be addressed to the Database Manager at Girl Guides Victoria.
