Welcome to Guides Online for Term 4! 

These Virtual Girl Guide Meetings are especially for our youth members who are unable to attend their regular in-person Girl Guide meeting.

Did you join us in previous terms? It's great to see you back! 
Are you joining us for the first time? Then a big warm welcome, we hope you have lots of fun with some new online Guiding friends! 

In 2023, we're offering registration for the entire Term, rather than week by week. See below for what theme's we have on offer!! 
You can register at any point throughout the term***, and you will receive the registration link each Wednesday morning. 

***WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY REGISTRATIONS ONCE TERM HAS COMMENCED, TO BE DONE BY THE WEDNESDAY BY 9AM***

What do we have planned this Term??
The theme's for Term 4 2023 are: 
October 4, 2023 - Art Diaries in PJs
Start the Term off with a creative bang, whilst enjoying the comfort of your PJ's at the same time. 
Create an art diary with items from around the house such as magazines, crayons, pencils, glue and scissors. 

October 11, 2023 - Grow Your Own Crystals Night
Conduct a crystal-growing experiment and other STEM activities.

October 18, 2023 - Pizza Food Night
Whip out your pizza chef hat and let's get cooking! 
Try your hand at making a delicious pizza.

October 25, 2023 - Bugs, Bees, and Trees
Explore the amazing and important work of some of our flora and fauna. 
Learn about the food chain and eco-system and how each work together to support life on earth and how humans can help and hinder.

November 1, 2023 - Escape Room Challenge and Art Journal Check-In
Participate in a virtual escape room challenge, followed by sharing and discussing art journal entries.

November 8, 2023 - Brave Woman Night
Learn about and celebrate the brave women in your lives.

November 15, 2023 - Relaxed Games and Secret Codes
Play fun and relaxed games, and learn to create and decode secret messages.

November 22, 2023 - Reverse Advent Calendar Night and Good Turns
Create a reverse advent calendar for charity and discuss good turns. What acts of kindness can we show in our communities and to ourselves.

November 29, 2023 - Christmas Food Night
What are some Christmas-themed food, gifts and activities that you and your friends and family participate in. 
What traditional dishes or customs do you know about?

December 6, 2023 - Christmas Celebration Around the World, Card Making, and Term Break-Up
Explore Christmas traditions from different cultures, make holiday cards, and celebrate the end of the term.

How to register:
- Log into your/your Guides profile, then click the orange 'Register Myself' button below, and select your registration type (if applicable). 
- To complete checkout, click the orange button at the bottom of the page (For events that do not have a cost, you still must proceed to final checkout.) 
- You will shortly receive an automated email confirmation. If you do not receive a confirmation, you likely have NOT successfully completed the registration process.

A CANCELLATION FEE WILL APPLY
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR EVENTS RUN BY GIRL GUIDES VICTORIA
(As at October 2011)
  • If the event is cancelled by Girl Guides Victoria, a full refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event at least one month prior to the closing date for applications, a 90% refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event less than one month before the closing date for applications, a 50% refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event after the closing date for applications, no refund will be given.
You may apply for special consideration in exceptional circumstances. Such requests should be addressed to the Database Manager at Girl Guides Victoria.
