Brisbane Ranges Overnight Hike
Youth aged 14+ and Olaves are invited to participate in an overnight hike at the Brisbane Ranges. 
This hike is a Grade 3 hike of approximately 10km distance each dayThis hike can be used by Youth completing their Duke of Edinburgh Award for their expedition component, or by other youth and Olaves to gain experience. 

When |
Saturday 14 October @ 9am – Sunday 15 October @ 3pm 
Where | Brisbane Ranges – meet at Friday’s Picnic and Campground by 9am Saturday; pick up will be from Steiglitz Court House by 3pm Sunday. 
Who | Youth aged 14+  & Olaves (all adults welcome)
Cost | $40 per person - includes all food for Saturday (morning tea, lunch, dinner) and Sunday (breakfast, morning tea and lunch) and campground fees.   

Note |
this is a great beginner’s hike, but carrying a fully loaded pack and walking 10km is challenging. If you’ve never overnight hiked before please reach out to the LiC Belinda for a chat about what to expect.   
Information session | an online information session will be offered on Thursday 5 October at 7pm via Microsoft Teams, register to attend here and a link to join the meeting will be sent the night before.

HOW TO REGISTER |

- Select your registration option. 
- You will be presented with a series of additional questions. Please . Youth members will need to confirm their health details. 
- To complete registration, click the orange  button at the bottom of this page.
- Payment is required to secure your youth registration. If you do not receive a confirmation email, your registration has likely NOT been successful.

A CANCELLATION FEE WILL APPLY
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR EVENTS RUN BY GIRL GUIDES VICTORIA
(As at October 2011)
  • If the event is cancelled by Girl Guides Victoria, a full refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event at least one month prior to the closing date for applications, a 90% refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event less than one month before the closing date for applications, a 50% refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event after the closing date for applications, no refund will be given.
You may apply for special consideration in exceptional circumstances. Such requests should be addressed to the Database Manager at Girl Guides Victoria.
