Registration
We will leave the meeting point at approximately 8.55am to go to our marshaling/waiting area at Ian Johnson Oval.
At Ian Johnson Oval there will be a pride merchandise shop, gender neutral bathrooms, first aid tents, coffee and food trucks.

There will be signs to show you where to go. If you get lost or aren’t sure where to go, please look for one of the Midsumma Festival volunteers in hi-vis /fluro vests. They are really nice and will show you where to go, we are in wave B34.

We are marching in Wave B, Youth, with schools, Minus18 and Scouts Victoria.

After the march – collection point
The march ends in Catani Gardens. We will be there at approximately 12:30pm – this varies each year.
For adults waiting to collect their Guides, a good place to wait for us is at the large tree on the right as you enter Catani Gardens.

We will finish our event at Catani Gardens. We will take a group photo, then you are free to go if your adult is waiting for you or if you are traveling independently (14+ guides can leave independently with prior approval- text Jo/Rosella 0401 257 646).

Please make sure that you speak to me aka Jo/Rosella before you leave so I can check you out.

Pride 2023 is back! And so is the Midsumma Pride March!! Youth & adult members, are invited to join Girl Guides Victoria in the 2023 March for a fun filled colourful day.

10yrs+ Youth and Adult Guides Victoria members will be marching in the Midsumma 2023 Pride March along Fitzroy Street in St Kilda, from Lakeside Drive to Catani Gardens.
Click here for the planned 2023 route.

Friends, family, and supporters are most welcome to march.
The Pride March is an LGBTQIA+ community event and celebrates diverse genders and sexualities. Those who attend and march in the parade may see or hear things they have not previously been exposed to, and so Youth members under the age of 14 MUST march with and be under the supervision of a parent/guardian over the age of 18 OR their Guide Leader.
Adults in attendance on the day will be the Leader in Charge, Co-Leader and other Guides Victoria Adult members.

All Youth Members attending on the day must have their Health Forms signed by a parent/guardian and brought with them.

A 2023 Pride March badge will be posted out to registrants after the event.
