Unit Leadership Training - Vermont

Unit Leadership Training - Vermont
The Leadership Qualification training days are suitable for Unit Leaders and Assistant Unit Leaders working on their Leadership Qualification Passport.

Unit Leader Training at Vermont is on Sunday 9 September and Sunday 18 November.
It is recommended that you attend both Day 1 and Day 2 at the same location. Please contact the training team if you cannot attend the Day 2 date at this location. Both Day 1 and Day 2 are required for the completion of your Unit Leadership Qualification Passport.

All Victorian Unit Leader trainings will now follow the new pilot model developed by Western Australia and Victoria. We will also use a shortened Learning Passport for new Leaders. It is hoped that most new Leaders will complete their qualification in 6-12 months, with a role review after 6 months.

District Managers or Region Managers, especially if new to Guiding, may also choose to attend.

The sessions will provide training to cover the following modules:

- Delivering the Australian Guide Program
- Being a Leader of your Unit
- Being Safe
- Managing your Unit

Two of the modules will be send to you as e-learning modules between Day 1 and Day 2.

Before attending, please ensure you have read the Information Kit (available from the website Event Post).

Upon registration, you will need to answer several questions to assist the Training Team. Please ensure you also click through the Checkout, and contact us if you do not receive a confirmation email.
