Online Unit Leadership Qualification Training (October)
Leadership Qualification training is suitable for Unit Leaders and Assistant Unit Leaders working on their Leadership Qualification Passport.

Training will be delivered online via Zoom. Registered participants will be sent Zoom details once registrations have closed.

Unit Leadership Training is run across 4 one-hour long Zoom meetings over 4 weeks. Each Zoom meeting will start at 7.00 pm and finish at 8.30 pm.

This Training is running on Mondays:
Monday 5 October, Monday 12 October, Monday 19 October, and Monday 26 October.

You must attend all 4 Zoom meetings to complete this Training, in additional to completing 6 eGuiding modules.

All Victorian Unit Leader trainings follow a shortened format and participants should be working from the Australian National Passport dated March 2019. It is hoped that most new Leaders will complete their qualification in 6-12 months, with a role review after 6 months.

District Managers or Region Managers, especially if new to Guiding, may also choose to attend.

The sessions will provide training to cover the following modules:
- Delivering the Australian Guide Program
- Being a Leader of your Unit
- Being Safe
- Managing your Unit

A link to the required eGuiding modules will be sent to you. These must be completed PRIOR to your attendance at training unless RPL has been granted by your Learning Partner:
- Guiding Orientation
- Shared Leadership in the Unit
- The Girl Recognition System
- Finance
- Being Safe (Risk Management).

Upon registration, you will need to answer several questions to assist the Training Team. Please ensure you also click through the Checkout and contact us if you do not receive a confirmation email.
