Kayak & Stand-Up Paddle Board Training
Join us for our 2023 Kayak & Stand-Up Paddle Boarding (SUP) Training weekend. 

This training will focus mainly on completing the Kayak qualifications, with some optional Paddle Boarding instruction. 

Trainees will complete and be assessed for the Conduct Canoe/Kayak Module. 

NOTE | If you currently hold external qualifications, or have experience with these activities please contact adventure@guidesvic.org.au to discuss possible RPL (Recognised Prior Learning) opportunities. 
This training consists of: 
Sunday 17 September (4 - 6:30pm) - Pre Training Zoom Meeting

Saturday 30 September (8:30am - 4:00pm) - Training Day
Sunday 1 October  (8:30am - 4:00pm) - Assessment Day

Location | Guide & Scout Water Activities Centre, Sandringham

Kit List |
 - Change of clothes
- Towel
- Lunch, snacks & water bottle
- Laptop or other device for theory work

A CANCELLATION FEE WILL APPLY
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR EVENTS RUN BY GIRL GUIDES VICTORIA
(As at October 2011)
  • If the event is cancelled by Girl Guides Victoria, a full refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event at least one month prior to the closing date for applications, a 90% refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event less than one month before the closing date for applications, a 50% refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event after the closing date for applications, no refund will be given.
You may apply for special consideration in exceptional circumstances. Such requests should be addressed to the Database Manager at Girl Guides Victoria.
