These Virtual Girl Guide Meetings are especially for our youth members who are unable to attend their regular in-person Girl Guide meeting.
Welcome to Guides Online for Term 3! 

Did you join us in Term 1 and/or Term 2? It's great to see you back! 
Are you joining us for the first time? Then a big warm welcome, we hope you have lots of fun with some new online Guiding friends! 

In 2023, we're offering registration for the entire Term, rather than week by week. See below for what theme's we have on offer!! 
You can register at any point throughout the term***, and you will receive the registration link each Wednesday morning. 

***WE WOULD APPRECIATE ANY REGISTRATIONS ONCE TERM HAS COMMENCED, TO BE DONE BY THE WEDNESDAY BY 9AM***

When: Wednesday evenings - July 12 - September 13 (TERM 3 WILL COMMENCE ON JULY 19)
Time: 6:30 - 8pm
Where: Microsoft 365/Teams. A link will be sent to event registrants prior to each session. 

What do we have planned this Term??
The theme's for Term 3 2023 are: 

19 July - Mighty Girl
Join us as we celebrate the courage and strength of mighty girls around the world. Be inspired by the story of Malala Yousafzai and her fight for girls' rights to education. Participate in empowering activities and crafts that highlight the importance of education and gender equality.

26 July - Christmas in July
Get into the festive spirit with our Christmas in July celebration!
Engage in fun activities, crafts, and games with a holiday twist and spread joy and learn about different Christmas traditions from around the world

2 August - Friendship Bracelets
Celebrate the power of friendship by creating beautiful and meaningful friendship bracelets.
Learn different knotting techniques and design your own personalized bracelets.
Share your creations with your friends and strengthen your bonds of friendship.

9 August - Star Gazing and Outer Space
Embark on a cosmic journey as we explore the wonders of the universe, learning about stars, planets, and galaxies through interactive activities and stargazing sessions.
Discover the fascinating world of astronomy and ignite your curiosity about the universe.

16 August - Book Club
Dive into the enchanting world of books and storytelling.
Participate in a virtual book club and discuss your favorite books and characters.

23 August - Grand Final Footy Colour Day
Show your team spirit and dress up in your favorite footy colors and celebrate the excitement and camaraderie of Australian Rules Football.

30 August - Morse & Others
Discover the fascinating world of coding and communication.
Learn Morse code and other coding languages through interactive challenges and unlock the secrets of communication and technology.

6 September - Technology
Explore the ever-evolving world of technology and its impact on our lives and reflect on the ethical implications and opportunities that technology brings.

13 September - International Day of the Girl
Join the global movement to celebrate the rights and empowerment of girls and engage in activities and discussions that promote gender equality and advocacy.


How to register:
 - Log into your/your Guides profile, then click the orange 'Register Myself' button below, and select your registration type (if applicable). 
- To complete checkout, click the orange button at the bottom of the page (For events that do not have a cost, you still must proceed to final checkout.) 
- You will shortly receive an automated email confirmation. If you do not receive a confirmation, you likely have NOT successfully completed the registration process.

A CANCELLATION FEE WILL APPLY
CANCELLATION POLICY FOR EVENTS RUN BY GIRL GUIDES VICTORIA
(As at October 2011)
  • If the event is cancelled by Girl Guides Victoria, a full refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event at least one month prior to the closing date for applications, a 90% refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event less than one month before the closing date for applications, a 50% refund will be given.
  • If you withdraw from the event after the closing date for applications, no refund will be given.
You may apply for special consideration in exceptional circumstances. Such requests should be addressed to the Database Manager at Girl Guides Victoria.
